Novels and Novelists of the Edwardian Era

Tuesday 10.15 - 12.15

Who were the Edwardians? How did they differ from Victorian novelists and could they foresee the events to come? We shall be exploring 10 writers and their works from Great Britain and America, all of whom are still read today. These range from Joseph Conrad to E. Nesbit and from Edith Wharton to John Buchan.
We hope to have some lively discussion and participation. A full list of the books is available on request at the library desk.
