Brexit and Other Current Economic Issues

Wednesday 2.00 - 4.00

A weekly discussion of a range of current economic issues, both national and global. The main emphasis will be on the progress, or lack of progress, of the Brexit negotiations and their implications both for the UK and for the rest of the EU. This will relate to the economy as a whole, but also to different sectors, regions and people. Other topics will probably include: the economic divisions in British society; the economic role of governments; developments in environmental policy. The sessions will be flexible in order to respond to the rapidly changing situation and your interests.
