Events and Activities Open To All
The Institute runs a wide range of events and activities that are open to members and non-members alike; from evening courses to live music, coach trips to workshops.

Our evening courses are for members and non-members. They all take place in Admiral’s House, 13 Towers Street, IP1 3BE.
Our workshops take place on a Saturday, with different subjects every term.
The Institute coach trips will take you all over the east and south-east of England, from museums to stately homes to shows. All trips leave and return to the Crown Street layby, Crown Street, Ipswich.
We host a variety of daytime and early evening talks for members and non-members to enjoy.
The Ipswich Tourist Guides are a small group of volunteers who organise guided walks within Ipswich.
Cancellation and Refunds
If the event is cancelled, the full ticket price will be refunded.
If the ticket holder no longer wants to, or is unable to, attend the event a refund will be given only if the ticket is resold. If the ticket is resold, a charge of 20% of the ticket price will be deducted before a refund is given.
